Janice Hacker

Janice Hacker, 101, of Warren, IN, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021, at Heritage Pointe in Warren.

Mrs. Hacker was a 1938 graduate of Lancaster Township High School. She was a homemaker and a member at the First Church of the Nazarene for over 70 years.

She was born on May 4, 1920, in Lancaster Township, Huntington County, to Rosco C. and Nina L. Ulrich Wiley. She married Dale E. Hacker on July 4, 1941. He preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 2012.

Survivors include a son, John E. (Sherry) Hacker, of Huntington; three grandchildren, Julie A. (Kenny) Wilson, of Huntington, Natalie S. McCoy, of Fort Wayne, and David (Loren) Rich, of Brownsburg; one step-grandchild, Shane (Tina) Bennett, of Bluffton; 10 great-grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie S. Ingram.

Calling will take place on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1555 Flaxmill Road, Huntington, immediately followed by a funeral service.

Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington.
