Jackie “Jack” Arthur Davis

Jackie “Jack” Arthur Davis, 87, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, at 9:55 a.m., at Parkview Hospital Randallia.

Mr. Davis graduated from Jefferson Township High School with the class of 1952 and served in the U.S. Army during the Cold War. He worked for Lehman Floor Covering for 22 years, then retired from Huntington College in 2000. He then worked at Juergens Do it Best store in Huntington until 2014. He was a past member at Trinity United Methodist Church and a current member at Life Church of Huntington.

He was born on Feb. 13, 1934, in Delaware County, to Clyde Davis and Edna Clock Lahr. He married Janis L. Lehman on July 3, 1956, in Huntington. She survives in Huntington.

Additional survives include two daughters, Julie Davis, of Huntington, and Jeana Rohrabaugh, of Bluffton; a son, Jeffrey L. (Jami) Davis, of Asheville, NC; a brother, Kenneth Davis, of Fort Worth, TX; a sister, Sandra (DeVon) Blodgett, of Plymouth; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Guest, and a great-grandson, Carson Stoffel.

Calling will take place on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington, with a funeral service to immediately follow. Nanci Rosinski will officiate.

Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery in Marion at a later date.
