Mona C. Pinkerton

Mona C. Pinkerton, 85, of Warren, IN, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at 6:35 a.m., at Saint Anne Community Victory Noll in Huntington.  

Mrs. Pinkerton was a 1954 graduate of Jefferson Township High School. She received her RN from Ball State University. She worked at Marion General Hospital after graduating and then became a homemaker. She also worked alongside her husband to run Pinkerton Farms Inc.

She was born on July 21, 1936, in Grant County, to Wilbur L. and Marie Fey Stanley. She married James “Jim” Pinkerton on April 19, 1957, at Plymouth Chapel. He survives in Warren.

Additional survivors include three sons, Michael Pinkerton, of Rochester, Daniel (Regina) Pinkerton, of Warren, and Joe (Debbie) Pinkerton, of Huntington; a daughter, Julia (Hal) Hoffman, of Huntington; two brothers, Kenneth R. Stanley, of Indianapolis, and Wayne L. (Carol) Stanley, of Marion; four sisters, Janet (Dave) Daugherty, Catherine “Kate” King, Mary Shaw and Fey Rita (Glenn) Benefiel, all of Warren; a sister-in-law, Shirley Stanley, of Huntington; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Calling will take place on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, from noon to 2 p.m., at the Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A celebration of life service will immediately follow with Rev. Rick Hines officiating.

Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in rural Marion.
