Opal Jeanette Click

Opal Jeanette Click, 91, of Fort Pierce, FL, and formerly of Roanoke, IN, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Palm Garden of Vero Beach, FL.

Mrs. Click graduated from Roanoke High School. She retired from the K-Mart Distribution Center in Fort Wayne and she farmed with her husband. She also volunteered at the Indiana Room at the Huntington City-Township Public Library. She was a long time member of the Union Church.

She was born on June 12, 1930, in Roanoke, to Ashley and Ethel Layman Johnson. She married Ralph Click on July 18, 1948, at the Union Church. He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 2016.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth E. (Wendy) Click, of Fort Pierce, FL; a daughter, Carolyn R. (Gerald) Petersen, of Derry, NH; five grandchildren, Carmen (Ed) Dyer, Kelly (Shawn) Hurley, Charity (Jarod) Cupp, Christopher Petersen, and Jonathan Petersen; 13 great-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter.

A funeral service took place on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington.

Burial was in Union Cemetery in Huntington County.
