Susan J. Reynolds, 69, of Montpelier, IN, and with ties to Warren, IN, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at 6:43 p.m., at her home in Montpelier.
Mrs. Reynolds was a 1970 graduate of Blackford High School. She received her LPN from St. Francis School of Nursing. She had worked at Marion General Hospital ER, Heritage Pointe in Warren, Caylor Nickel in Bluffton, Blackford Co. Hospital, Ball Memorial Hospital and retired in 2017 from Swiss Village in Berne. She was a former member of the St. Margaret’s Catholic Church. She was a past member of the Millard Brown American Legion Auxiliary, was formerly on the Jamboree committee and Montpelier Fire Dept. Auxiliary.
She was born on Jan. 11, 1952, in Blackford County, to Joe E. and Norma W. Sharp Smith.
Survivors include a son, Adam Smith, of Montpelier; two brothers, Paul “Eddie” (Janice) Smith and Joe B. “Jody” Smith, both of Montpelier; and two grandchildren, Kaisyn Smith and Audrianna McCammon, both of Montpelier.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Madisyn Reynolds.
Calling will take place on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, from 3 to 8 p.m., at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, with Rev. Steve Sutton officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Montpelier.
