Robert David Rogers

Robert David Rogers, 82, of Huntington, IN died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, at 6:45 p.m., at his home.

Mr. Rogers graduated from Andrews High School in 1956. He served in the U.S. Air Force for six years. He attended Fort Wayne Bible College. He retired in 1990 from General Electric as a Water Treatment Specialist after 32 years of service. He was a member of The Mission House Church of Huntington.

He was born on Dec. 2, 1938, in Monroe, MI, to Charles and Gladys Covell Rogers. He married Carolyn Riley on Jan. 30, 1965, in Westernport, MD. She survives in Huntington.
                        
Additional survivors include three daughters, Catherine (Dean) Whitesell, of Punta Gorda, FL, Rebecca (Chris) Collins, of Huntington, and Heather (Adam) Brockhous, of Warren; three grandsons, Andrew (Angela) Lamar, Michael (Alysa) Lamar and Jeremy (Melinda) Shelley; four granddaughters, Cassandra (Keith) Zygand, Katherine Collins, Courtney (Jon) Mills and Gabrielle Mason; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Calling will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon, at The Mission House, 734W-100S, Huntington. A funeral service will immediately follow with Rev. Jim Splawn officiating.

Burial will be in Star of Hope Cemetery.
