Suzanne Elayne Haneline, 78, of Britton, MI, and formerly of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, at 7:22 p.m., at her son's residence in Britton, MI.
Ms. Haneline graduated from Huntington High School in 1961 and from IPFW in Fort Wayne in 1981, earning her associate’s in accounting. She worked as the head bookkeeper at PHC in Fort Wayne for five years and also worked in the Accounting Department at Pic A Nut in Huntington. She was a member of the Good Shepherd United Brethren Church in Huntington.
She was born on July 13, 1943, in Huntington, to Burr Thompson and Marie Coble Koughn.
Survivors include two sons, David (Amy) Haneline, of Britton, MI, and Dennis (Melissa) Haneline, of Huntington; a brother, Dennis (Carrie) Thompson, of St. Joseph, MI; a sister, Bonnie Baldwin, of MI; eight grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Derek Chesterman.
Calling will take place on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, from 11 a.m to 1 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington. A funeral service will immediately follow.
Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Huntington.
