Mona L. Dalton, 62, of Huntington, IN, formerly of North Manchester, IN, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Dalton graduated from Manchester High School in North Manchester in 1977. Later in life she attended International Business College where she studied to become a medical assistant. She worked at Pathfinder Services for four years and then was a nurses aid at Cardinal Center in Warsaw for nine years. She also worked in Huntington at Echo Lake Foods as a production worker for four years.
She was born on Aug. 5, 1959, in Wabash, to Charles and Shirley Patton Reahard. Her step-mother, Kathleen Reahard, survives in Urbana.
Additional survivors include two sons, Zachary Reahard, of Michigan City, and Corey Dalton, of Huntington; a daughter, Toccara Lynn (William Stetzel) Kellam, of Huntington; a brother, Charles Christopher (Cathy) Reahard, of Lebanon; a sister, Helen (Dennis) Baer, of North Manchester; two step brothers, Alan Peden Jr., of Urbana, and Bobby (Mona) Bigham, of Urbana; and one grandson, Maddix Bussard.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Skylenn Hubley.
A celebration of life service will take place on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the American Legion Sunset Post 402, 10140 N, Troyer Road, Laketon. McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, is handling arrangements.
