Doris Jean Brumbaugh, 87, of Huntington, IN, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, at 2:25 a.m., at Tipton Place of Huntington.
Mrs. Brumbaugh graduated from Huntington High School with the class of 1953. She was a member of the Faith Community Church of God in Huntington. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with a photography business from 1978 to 2000.
She was born on Nov. 14, 1934, in Huntington, to Ray and Mary Smith Ware. She married Charles D. Brumbaugh Jr. on Sept. 1, 1956, in Central Christian Church of Huntington. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 2021.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Lee (Diane) Brumbaugh of Huntington, and Jerry W. (Teresa) Brumbaugh, of Huntington; a daughter, Cindy S. (Doug) Farlow, of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Janet Barkley, of Huntington, Esther Denton, of Huntington, and Ann Dafforn, of Ohio; three grandsons, Adam (Chris R.) Brumbaugh, of Lake Nona, FL, Christopher (Brittney) Brumbaugh, of Huntington, and Josh Wiley, of Huntington; two granddaughters, Jennifer Schumaker, of Harlan, and Jessica Williams, of Fort Wayne; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service took place on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, at Faith Community Church of God, Huntington. Rev. Dan First officiated. Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington, handled arrangements.
Burial followed in Gardens of Memory Cemetery Huntington.
