Bonnie “Sue” Stephan

Bonnie “Sue” Stephan, 83, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021, at 9:23 a.m., at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Mrs. Stephan had worked at Pyle Industries, Triad-Utrad and had owned the Corner Tavern in Andrews.  In her retirement years she cleaned houses.

She was born on Oct. 15, 1938, in Fulton, KY, to Othy Clifton and Katherine Boundrant Campbell.  She previously married Lewis “Bud” Walker and he survives in Huntington.  She then married Howard “Soc” Stephan. He preceded her in death.

Additional survivors include a son, Stephen (Cantrenia) Walker, of Ligoneer; a daughter, Kimberly (Dave) Shively, of Huntington; two step daughters, Shirley Fisher, of Andrews, and Sharon Biehl, of Huntington; two step sons, Mike Stephan, of Huntington, and Lawrence Stephan, of Marion; 30 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by three step sons, Mark Stephan, Denny Stephan and Hank Stephan; one grandson and two great-grandsons.

Calling will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a funeral service to immediately follow, at Deal-Rice Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel.

Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Andrews.
