Gennie Baker Poff

Gennie Baker Poff, 79, of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Poff was a 1960 graduate of Jackson Township High School in Wells County. She had worked at Memcor E-Systems, Square D Corporation and Wal-Mart. She and her husband owned Poff’s Place in Huntington for eight years.

She was born on Jan. 16, 1942, in Wooten, KY, to Gus and Nettie Baker. She married Stephen Poff on July 16, 1960. He survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Tony (Kelly) Poff, of Huntington; two sisters, Thelma (Sam) Lloyd, of Englewood, FL, and Peggy (Dave) Tyler, of Huntington; three brothers, Dan Baker, of Hartford City, Tom Baker, of Warren, and Clarence (Barbara) Baker, of Hartford City; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be no public visitation or service at this time.
