Donald W. Branscomb, 62, of Huntington, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Mr. Branscomb attended Huntington North High School and received his GED. He had worked for HK Porter of Huntington for 12 years and retired from Ormsby Appliance of Huntington after 27 years of service.
He was born on Jan. 5, 1960, in Huntington, to Burwin and Patricia Snyder Branscomb. He married Mary K. Mitchell on April 10, 1982, in South Whitley. She survives in Huntington.
Additional survivors include a son, Tanner W. Branscomb, of Huntington; a daughter, Courtney J. (Don) Whitney, of Huntington; a sister, Rita (Dan) Clark, of Huntington; a sister-in-law, Anna Slone, of Kentucky; two granddaughters and a grandson.
Calling will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home, with Jarrod Ball officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
