Jerry Wayne Fahrnow, 76, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, at 3:50 a.m., at Heritage Pointe of Huntington.
Mr. Fahrnow graduated from Township High School with the class of 1963. He retired from the Huntington City Fire Department after many years of service.
He was born on April 20, 1945, in Huntington, to John Fahrnow and I. Pauline Johnson Fahrnow.
Survivors include three sisters, Nancy Wiles, of Huntington, Mary Florey, of Huntington, and Ruth (Bob) Stoeckley, of Roanoke; a brother, Harry D. (Jane) Fahrnow, of Fort Wayne; and a grandson, Branden Fahrnow, of Huntington.
He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Alan Fahrnow.
Calling will take place on Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington. A funeral service will immediately follow. Janet Clark will officiate.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Marion.
