Kay I. Coolman, 75, of Columbia City, IN, and with ties to Roanoke, IN, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at Parkview Hospital.
Mrs. Coolman graduated from Roanoke High School with the class of 1964. She worked for Roanoke Coil Factory, Magnavox, Tokheim and retired from Bendix. She was a member of Abundant Fellowship Church in Huntington.
She was born on Aug. 10, 1946, in Fort Wayne, to Earl and Dorothy Ness Scott. She married Ronald Coleman on March 12, 1966, in Carlsbad, CA. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Laux and Kendra Enterline; a son, Cayne (Billie Jo) Coolman; a brother, Wayne (Marilynn) Scott; a sister-in-law, Betty Scott; and seven grandchildren.
Calling will take place on Tuesday, March 1, from 3 to 7 p.m., at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 2, at 10 a.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Snodderly officiating.
Burial will take place at Glenwood IOOF.
