Melba Jean Parrett, 83, of Huntington, IN, died on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 11 a.m., at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Mrs. Parrett graduated from Union Township School in Huntington County in 1957. She worked at Memcor. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Huntington.
She was born on March 20, 1939, in Huntington, to Clell Pasko and Goldie DeHaven Pasko. She married Kenneth D. Parrett on May 17, 1957, in Huntington. He survives in Huntington.
Additional survivors include three Sons, Reo (Jana) Parrett, of Huntington, Rusty (Karen) Parrett of Huntington, WV and Rodney (Jen) Parrett, of Cincinnati, OH; a daughter, Renee Spilker, of Indianapolis; a brother, Mark (JoAnn) Pasko, of Huntington; eight grandchildren, Tucker (Tonya) Parrett, of Huntington, Cassidy (Chris) May, of Huntington, Jericho (Alex) Bradford, of Huntington, Samuel Parrett of Cincinatti, OH, Kendall Spilker, of Indianapolis, Levi Parrett, of Lousiville, KY, Isaac Parrett, of Huntington, WV, Sydney Parrett, of Cincinnati, OH, Maggie Spilker-Bryant, of Fishers, Kris Spilker (Sean McMains), of TX and Kim Spilker, of WA; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Calling will take place on Saturday, April 2, from 9 to 11 a.m., with funeral services immediately following at First Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Bobby Kemp will officiate.
Burial will be in Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington County.
