Beverly J. “Bev” Holzheuer, 93, of Warren died on Sunday, April 17, at Heritage Pointe in Warren.
Mrs. Holzheuer was a member of the Warren Church of Christ. She was a stay-at-home mom. She went through LPN training and graduated in 1967 from practical nursing. She worked at the United Methodist Memorial Home for 17 years in the doctor’s office.
She was born on Sept. 11, 1928, to Carlos and Opal Tudor Herring in Marion. She married Raymond D. Holzheuer on Sept.4, 1948, in Marion. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Patty Ann Holzheuer,
Survivors include a son, Terry Lee (Connie) Holzheuer, of Huntington; two daughters, Rae Jean (Curt) Corle, of Bluffton and Karla (Vern) Ralston, of Warren; a brother, Jerry Herring; nine grandchildren, Robert Holzheuer, James Holzheuer, Lauren Urschel, Candace Beatty, Rachel Quillen, Kristen Bosworth, Hillary Chaney, Quentin Ralston and Collins Ralston and 10 great-grandchildren.
Calling will take place on Wednesday, April 20, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren. Additional calling will take place on Thursday, April 21, from noon to 1 p.m. with funeral services immediately following. Rev. Gerald Moreland will officiate.
Burial will be at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
