Gary “Joe” Craig

Gary “Joe” Craig, 83, of Liberty Center, with ties to Warren, died May 4, at 10:40 a.m., at his home.

Mr. Craig He graduated from Liberty Center High School. He worked for Sterling Casting and was a farmer. He was a member of Salamonie Trail Riders

and Liberty Center Baptist Church.

He was born on August 27, 1938, in Liberty Center to Clarence Crawford Craig and Mary Luella Gregg Craig. She survives in Liberty Center. He married Judy Ann Pursley Dec. 7, 1957, at Liberty Center Baptist Church. She survives in Liberty Center. He was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Hirschy, and  a grandson, Jake S. Lewis.

Additional survivors include two children, Carl (Kim) Craig, of Liberty Center and Jeffery (Sandra Seacott-Craig) Craig, of Montpelier; a brother, Terrance “Terry” Craig, of Tennessee; 

four grandchildren, Billie (Jeremy) Rodgers, of Bluffton, Trevor Craig, of Bluffton, Colt (Alex) Craig, of Warren, and Trace (Chrissy) Craig, of Bluffton; and 10 great- grandchildren.

Calling will take place Monday, May 9, from 4 – 6 p.m., with funeral services immediately following at Liberty Center Baptist Church. Rev. Aaron Westfall will officiate.

Arrangements are being handled by Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren.

Burial will be at Mossburg Cemetery.
