Katelyn Eileen Huddleston-England, 27, of Huntington, passed away at 1:48 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Katelyn was born on Jan. 6, 1995, in Huntington, the daughter of Jacob Huddleston and Michelle (Searles) Houston. She graduated from Huntington North High School with the class of 2013. She married the love of her life Danny England on May 28, 2022, at the Olive Branch Church in Roann; he preceded her in death on June 23, 2022.
She was a member of Olive Branch Church and active in Celebrate Recovery. Katelyn was blessed to be a stay-at-home mother to her four children. She enjoyed watching W.W.E. and spending time with her church family. Katelyn’s strong faith led her to be an advocate for addiction awareness. She was a devoted mother, loving wife, and a true friend. Her vibrant spirt will shine on forever in those she loved.
Survivors include her Mother, Michelle (Anthony) Houston of Huntington; father, Jacob (Tracie) Huddleson of Macon, Mo.; three sons, Carter, Julian, Clayton; daughter, Maryana; two sisters, Jessica (Nick Miller) Houston of Andrews, Chelsey Huddleston of Missouri; two brothers, Javaun Houston of Huntington, Dylan (Shelby McCallister) Huddleston of Missouri; grandmother, Cindy Anderson; great-grandmother, Thelma Searles of Andrews; mother-in-law, Leona (Mike) Townsend of Peru; father-in-law Tim (Laura) England of Kentucky; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Jean England, grandfather Arthur Searles grandfather, Donald Karst, Sr., grandmother Charlotte Huddleston, grandfather Teddy Huddleston, grandmother Edith Yamoah, grandfather Lloyd Jones, grandfather Steven Anderson, uncle Donald Karst, aunt Mary Searles, and aunt Mary Houston.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Olive Branch Church, 4581 E 1200 N, Roann. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Olive Branch Church with Pastor Jeff Sumner officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Claypool.
