Judy Zumbrun

Judy Kay (Johnson) Zumbrun, 82, of Huntington passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne.

She was a 1958 graduate of Larwill High School. Judy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints who served in many callings. She was also a volunteer with the American Red Cross helping throughout the county. Judy loved to crochet, knit, quilt and sew. She enjoyed making homemade greeting cards and bird watching. Judy was a phenomenal grandma and was known as the baby whisperer.

Judy was born June 2, 1940, in Whitley County, the daughter of Perry and Helen (Kessie) Johnson.

She was united in marriage to Brian Zumbrun on April 6, 1958. Brian survives.
Also surviving are seven children: Jeff (Julie) Zumbrun, Jim Zumbrun, Doug (Laura) Zumbrun, Dave Zumbrun, Dan (Amanda) Zumbrun, Missy Jo Cadieux, Jon (Tiffany) Zumbrun; five brothers and sisters: Loretta (Larry) Burnworth, Delores (Ed) Franks, Janet (Jerry) Brock, Mike (Carol) Johnson, Pat (Kathy) Johnson; 46 grandchildren and 45 and counting great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter.

Visitation and services were Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, 1190 500 N. Huntington.
Interment was at the Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County on Saturday, July 9.
