Nicles S. Armstrong, of Ten Mile, TN, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Hornepayne Community Hospital in Ontario, Canada while on a fishing trip with his friends. He was 73 years old.
He was born on Sunday, January 9, 1949, in Adams County, IN. He married Sandra "Samie" (Moser) Armstrong in Seattle, Washington on August 24,1996.
Armstrong was a 1967 graduate of South Adams High School in Berne, IN and he attended Purdue University. He was a member of Luminary Methodist Church in Ten Mile, TN - Nic served in the US Army as well as the Indiana National Guard. He worked as a sales representative for Micro Precision in Berne, IN and was currently working at Ace Hardware in Kingston, TN.
In 2002, Nic and Samie Armstrong moved from St. Charles, IL to Ten Mile, TN where they built a beautiful life together. Armstrong was a former member of the Berne Volunteer Fire Department and the Geneva Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, hanging out with friends and his beloved family.
Survivors include his mother, Alice Victryne "Chub" (Schlagenhauf) Armstrong; wife, Sandra "Samie" (Moser) Armstrong; sons, Brian Armstrong and Anthony “Tony” Quintus and wife Joell; grandchildren, Cody, Austin, Devin, Haley, Mason; and brothers, Hal Armstrong and wife Kathy and Matt Armstrong and wife Renee, also several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Kuhn's Den in downtown Geneva, Indiana from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
