Dudley A. Campbell

Dudley A. Campbell, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne. He was 89 years old.

He was born on October 29, 1932, in Pulaski County, IN, to John Campbell and Bertha (Widner) Campbell. He is a 1953 graduate from Jefferson High School and married Pharaba Blinn on February 11, 1961, in Marion, IN. He retired as a Millwright from Dana Corporation after 33 years of service and he loved farming, which he did for over 55 years. Campbell enjoyed having conversations with his family and friends, and he loved a good meal. Roller Skating with his children when they were young was one of his favorite activities. He was a member of the Mt. Etna Masonic Lodge #333, the Mizpah Shrine in Ft. Wayne, the Scottish Rite in Ft. Wayne, IN, and Pilcher’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pharaba Campbell of Huntington; son, Brent Campbell of Huntington; daughter, Melissa (Jim) Newcomer of Elkhart; two grandchildren, Fiona Newcomer and Wyatt Newcomer, both of Elkhart, IN.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Campbell; mother, Bertha Campbell; four sisters, Florence Taylor, Mary Meade, Vera Campbell, and Phyllis Anderson; three brothers, Maurice Campbell, Delbert Campbell, and Leland Campbell.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Marion.

Preferred memorials may be made in memory of Dudley to the Pilcher’s Chapel United Methodist Church or Mt. Etna Masonic Lodge #333, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN, 46750.
