Donald D. Thomas, of rural Hartford City, IN, (Roll) passed away on Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, at Millers Merry Manor in Hartford City, IN. He was 75 years old.
He was born on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 1946, in Wells County, IN. to Donald and Margaret (Roberts) Thomas Brown. He married Elaine K. (Schwarzkofp) Thomas on Friday, November 15, 1968, in Irving, TX.
Thomas attended Montpelier High School. He was a United States Army veteran. He had worked for the Montpelier Glove Factory, The Overhead Door, and had retired in 2002 from the DANA Corp. of Marion after working over 30 years. He had also worked at the Blackford canning factory. Donald enjoyed going fishing.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Elaine K. (Schwarzkofp) Thomas, Hartford City, IN; son, Bradley David Thomas, Marion, IN; grandsons, Ian Hunter Thomas, Marion, IN, Luke David Thomas, Marion, IN; and nephews, John Osborn, Scappoose, OR, and Rodney Osborn, Dayton, OH.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Thomas; mother, Margaret (Roberts) Thomas Brown; sister, Shirley Ann (Thomas) Osborn; nephew, Rick Osborn; daughter-in-law, Julie Thomas.
There will be no viewing or services.
