Penny Drabenstot, of Huntington, passed away on Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at her residence. She was 70 years old.
Penny was born on May 31, 1952, in Huntington, IN, to Jesse Cohen, Sr. and Ruth (Lunon) Steele.
She enjoyed poetry, bowling, cooking, and she loved to read. She has donated to numerous organizations over her lifetime.
Survivors include her son, Phillip E. Hilligoss, Jr. of Huntington; sister, Peggy (Dennis) Morgan of Huntington; two brothers, Jesse V. Cohen, Jr. of Huntington, Randy L. Cohen of Marion, IN.; Grandson, Phillip M. Hilligoss of Huntingto; four nephews, Bruce (Ashley) Morgan, Jonathan J. Tipton, Jr., Michael Green, Andrew Barrus all of Huntington; two nieces, Kristy (Sam) Moore of Huntington and Tiffany Jiosa.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse V. Cohen, Sr.; mother, Ruth V. Steele; brother, Rickey W. Cohen; sister, Linda Lee Morgan.
