Wendy J. Abt, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Aug. 5, 2022, at Stillwater Hospice, Fort Wayne, IN. She was 60 years old.
She was born October 14, 1961, in Harvard, Illinois. Her parents are Terry and April Bovenmyer of Fennimore, WI.
She retired from General Motors after 39 years from 1981 – 2020. She was a member of the American Legion Post 160 Ladies Auxiliary in Roanoke, IN. Abt loved to cook and work in her garden. She was a huge Green Bay Packers fan.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Ryan Abt of Loganville, GA; former husband, John Abt of Loganville, GA; one brother, Jeff (his wife Amy) Bovenmyer of Janesville, WI; and one sister, Shelly (her husband Russ) Downing of Fennimore, WI.
To honor Abt’s request, there will be no services at this time.
A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
