Shannon J. Harris, of Huntington passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, at her residence. She was 48 years old.
She worked at ALH Building Systems for 18 years. She loved the outdoors, she enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was family oriented and loved to take care of her family and was a great grandma to her grandchildren. Her biggest passion was late model dirt and track racing as well as NASCAR and drag races. Harris enjoyed watching IU Basketball, the Chicago Cubs and Indianapolis Colts. She loved music and attending concerts.
Harris was born on Dec. 4, 1973, in Huntington, the daughter of Charles and Cynthia “Cyndie” (Murphy) Shaw, Jr. She was united in marriage to Robert “Bobby” Harris, Jr. on July 10, 2021, in Huntington. Bobby survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Bryonne Bradley of Huntington; a son, Dallon Anders of Huntington; her parents, Charles and Cyndie Shaw of Huntington; a sister, Shellie (Kevin) Mason of Huntertown; a brother: Chad (Michelle) Shaw of Huntington; two stepdaughters, Kennedy Harris of Huntington, Bailey Jo Harris of Huntington; a stepson, Robert “Max” Harris of Huntington; six grandchildren, Mitchell Conley, Bentlee Bradley, James Enyart, Charleigh Pressler, Kodie-Leigh “Janelle” Pressler, Penelope Harris and six nieces and nephews, Logan, Victoria, Braiden, Jaelynne, Kailyn, Aryana, Leighella and Nelleaha.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County.
