Tami Lyn Huss of Montpelier passed away at 9:58 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at her home.
She was born on Friday, October 15, 1965; in Wells Co. Tami was a 1984 graduate of Blackford High School. She attended Kinsley Fall Gospel Church in Dunkirk.
Tami worked at Advanced Commercial Roofing in Muncie as a Lead Generator and at BRC, Hartford City, IN. She loved spending time with her friends and family, being Nonnie, and enjoyed being outdoors. Tami had fought a two-year battle with cancer; she has graciously donated her body for cancer research.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Skye (Jayson) Speece, Montpelier; step daughter, Shannon Monnot, New Corydon; granddaughters, Hannah Hardwick and Serenity Southard; grandsons, Skyelar Caster and Hardin Caster; great-grandchildren, Wynn & Kalvin Hardwick; sister, Starlotte Burneske, Montpelier; sister-in-law, Debbie Hartley, Wabash; brother, Herschel Hartley, Sr., Kokomo; Nephew, Bobby Cornelia, San Antonio; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles "Bud" Hartley Sr.; mother, Mary Virginia (McFeely) Hartley; and brothers, Charles Hartley, Jr., and Ira W. Hartley.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W. Windsor St. Montpelier on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 2-5 p.m.
A service to celebrate her life will follow at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, with The Rev. Ferrell Long and The Rev. Clarence Baker officiating.
