Brantley A. Harter, 46, of Hartford City, passed away at 3:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022 at Millers Merry Manor in Hartford City. He was born on Sunday, Oct. 12, 1975, in Hartford City. Brantley was a 1994 graduate of Blackford High School. He attended Ivy Tech in Muncie. Brantley was a mold set up operator at Buckhorn in Bluffton. He enjoyed guitars, cars, and motorcycles.
Brantley will be sadly missed by his mother, May Fay (Harter) Carney, Hartford City; sisters, Heather Futrell, Montpelier, and Davina Miller, Muncie; niece, Bryanna Futrell, Montpelier; nephew, Brendon Futrell, Montpelier; and several aunts, uncles & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Larry & Thelma Harter.
Family and friends will gather to share and remember Brantley at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W. Windsor St. Montpelier on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 12 - 2 p.m.
A service to celebrate Brantley’s life will follow at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022 with The Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery in Hartford City.
Preferred memorials: Blackford County Community Foundation (Cancer Fund) 121 N. High St. Hartford City.
