Beth E. Ambriole

Beth E. Ambriole, 94, of Huntington passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 12, 2022 at Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Beth was a 1946 graduate of Roanoke High School. She was also a member of Central Christian Church where she was a member of the Christian Women’s Fellowship, Builders Sunday School Class and had served as a Deaconess. Beth was a member of Union Thrifty Home Extension Club and was a Past President. She was also a member of Kappa Sigma Tau Sorority and was a Past National President. She drove a school bus for 28 years for HCCSC. Her routes included the Roanoke area and Huntington North. Beth also loved crotched hats, so much she made quite a few for everyone. She loved to paint and had many other crafting hobbies.

Beth was born on Dec. 27, 1927 in Huntington County, the daughter of the late Everitt and Jennie (Hurdle) Dennis. 

She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Ambriole on March 7, 1947 in Zanesville. He preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 2015.

Survivors include three sons: Dennis (Lynne) Ambriole of Tucson; Wesley (Janice) Ambriole of Sahuarita; Neil Ambriole of Huntington and a daughter Jennifer (Anthony) Hughes of Kokomo; two grandchildren: Courtney (Josh) Randall of Tucson, and Jonathan (Kelly) Ambriole of Fort Wayne and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister; Lura Jean Huebner and a brother; Maurice Dennis.

A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.

Interment will take place at the Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington County.
