Jimmie Cagle, 85, of Montpelier, passed away at 5:28 PM on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022 at IU Health Blackford Hospital in Hartford City. He was born on Thursday, April 29, 1937, in Allock, Kentucky. Jimmie attended school in Perry County. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean war. He formerly worked at Sheller Globe in Montpelier.
Jimmie enjoyed gardening, rabbit hunting, fishing, and working on small engines.
He will be sadly missed by his son, DeWayne Cagle, Montpelier; brother, Doug (Sally) Cagle, Montpelier; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Cagle; mother, Frances (McConnell) Cagle; wife, Martha (Summer) Cagle; infant daughter, Rhonda Cagle; brother, James Billie Cagle; sister, Freda M. Thomas; and sister, Janette Cagle.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Park View Cemetery 1101 S. Park Ave. Alexandria, Indiana,
