Mildred J. "Millie" Jacoby, 94, of Huntington passed away on Nov. 4, 2022 at her residence. Millie had worked for Memcorp for several years prior to becoming a certified nursing assistant. She worked as a CNA for 13 years at both nursing homes and as a home healthcare aid. In her younger years she was an active member of Union Church. She loved doing puzzles and playing games. Her favorite times were spent with her family.
Mildred was born on July 29, 1928 in Wabash, the daughter of the late Paul and Tena (Springer) Ridenour.
She was united in marriage to Jack Jacoby on Oct. 12, 1946 in Wabash. Jack preceded her in death on June 24, 2016
Survivors include two grandsons, Scott (Cora) Jacoby of Colorado, and Josh (Pamela Kane) Jacoby of Huntington; a granddaughter, Bethany Jacoby of North Carolina; and eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a niece, Diane (Aaron) Biehl of Huntington; and a nephew, Ed (Carol) Hileman of Marion.
She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Jacoby; and a granddaughter Kimberly Jacoby.
Visitation will be held Wednesday Nov. 9, 2022 from 11 - 12 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday Nov. 9, 2022 at 12 p.m. immediately following the visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
