Marie Odile “Dylett” Boyer, 77, formerly of Warren (Jefferson Twp.), passed away on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, at Walker Place Assisting Living Community in Shelbyville, Indiana.
Marie was born an only child, on March 7, 1945, in Nancy, France to Robert Eugene and Paulette Marie (Jean-George) Charles. She graduated from Jefferson Township in 1963. Dylett was a school bus driver for Huntington County Schools from 1978-2015. She also was a dairy farmer for 20 years and formerly lived and worked in Fort Wayne, at Lincoln Financial for three years. Dylett enjoyed fishing, rock hunting, being outdoors on the farm and most of all being a mother. She was a member of the Fort Wayne Gem & Mineral Society and the VFW Auxiliary.
Marie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene Charles (2016) and mother, Paulette Marie Charles (2018).
Loving survivors include her daughters: Andrea (Rick) Hahn, Wilshire, Ohio; Michelle (John) Seadler, Louisville; Nicolle (Steve) Beer, Bluffton; Stephanie Vickrey, Greenfield; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home located at 203 N. Matilda St. Warren, on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, from 3 - 8 p.m. To honor Dylett’s wishes, there will be no funeral service held.
