Oma Delores Zent, 94 of Warren, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Nov. 16, 2022, at 5:05pm at Heritage Pointe in Warren.
Oma was born on Oct. 28, 1928, in Upland, Indiana, to Francis and Jessie “True” (Murray) Moorman. She graduated from Jackson Center School in 1946 and married the love of her life, Robert E. Zent at their minister’s house in Shideler, Indiana in 1947. Oma received her LPN in Marion and worked for the doctors in Warren, then she worked at Corning in the dispensary for three years before returning to the medical field and working for Dr. Bennett for 10 years.

Oma loved to travel in the 5th wheel to tractor pulls with her husband, Bob. She fondly remembered a trip to Italy to see their grandson. She was a wonderful artist and painted beautiful works of art. Oma loved her grandchildren and was very proud of all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Oma was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and True Moorman, husband of 58 years, Robert “Bob” Zent, brother, Edward Moorman, sister, Phyllis Irvin, and grandson, Robert Joseph Zent.
Loving survivors include her children, Gary (Monica) Zent of Fishers, and Regina (Richard) Preston of Pickerington, four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, sister, Etta Kahlenbeck of Fort Wayne, sister, Freda (Charles) Eldridge of Iowa, and half sister, Margaret Banter of LaFontaine.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember at Solid Rock United Methodist Church, 485 Bennett Dr. Warren on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Boyanowski officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
