Gloria Jean White, 70 of Ossian, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Gloria was born on May 28, 1952, to Archie Ray Lowe and Delores Ilene (Wedler) Lowe in Bluffton. She graduated from Norwell High School and married Robert “Skip” Mabee on Aug. 8, 1987. Skip preceded her in death in 1996. Gloria married Robert White on Sept. 2, 1998, who preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2012. Gloria enjoyed visits with family and cross-stitching.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Ray and Delores Lowe, first husband, Skip Mabee, second husband, Robert White, sister, Melodie Houshoulder, brother in law, Richard White, and step son, Russell Mabee.
Loving survivors include her sisters, Carole Sue (Gerry) Middleton of Oak Ridge, and Darlene (Dan) Gerdom of Bluffton, brother, Otto “Tank” (Marilyn) Lowe of Ossian, brother-in-law, Joe Houshoulder of Bluffton, sisters-in-law, Maragaret Gagen and Gae Lewis of Bluffton, step daughters, Bunny Poland and Donnetta Sherwood of Fort Wayne, and Patricia Huffman of Montpelier, step sons, Robert (Genoveva) Mabee of Clint, and Robert (Shannon) White of Rockford, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In honor of Gloria’s wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren, Indiana.
