Tamara “Tammy” K. Reid

Tamara “Tammy” K. Reid, 63 of Huntington, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at her residence.
Tammy was born on Dec. 20, 1958 in Wells County to Herbert E. & Phyllis J. (Nusbaumer) Grover.
She was a 1977 graduate of Southern Wells High School. She was a faithful member of the Sugar Grove Church of God in Churubusco. She loved her church family and enjoyed being very involved with the church missions.
She enjoyed boating, playing cards, fishing and spending time with her family. She always had fond memories of ice skating in her younger years.
On Feb. 9,1996 Tammy & James Thompson “Jim” Reid, Jr. were married at the Fairview Church of God in Yoder. He preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2020.
Survivors include her daughter Angela R. (Matt) Musco of Bluffton, along with a granddaughter, Elaynah Musco, her brother, Daniel E. (Janean) Grover of Poneto and sister, Marsha D. (Dennis) Powell of Big Chapman Lake, Warsaw.
Tammy is also survived by her nieces & nephews; Kristi (Adam) Green of California, Kevin (Katie) Powell of Craigville, Bob (Adia) Grover of Hoagland and Terry Grover of Poneto. She was a special aunt to nieces and nephews on Jim’s side of the family.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, and her dear husband Jim.
Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton, with Pastor Tim Grable officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren. Visitation will take place on Friday, Nov. 25,2022, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton, and for one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
