Robert “Bob” A. Cutshall, 87 of Huntington passed away early Wednesday morning Nov. 23, 2022 at the Parkview Huntington Hospital. Bob had worked as an engineer for the Erie / Conrail Railroads for over 40 years, retiring in 1997. He was a 1953 graduate of Huntington High School and then served in the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. Bob was a member of the VFW Post 2689, American Legion Post 85 and the Moose Post 837. He was a pilot and liked to fly. Bob was born on August 21, 1935 in Huntington, as son of the late Roderick and Elizabeth Parry Cutshall.
He was united in marriage to L. Sue Garner on Nov. 23, 1957 in Huntington. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2017. Survivors include three sons: Robert Cutshall II of Michigan City, Christopher (Kimberly) Cutshall and William (Damion) Cutshall both of Huntington; Ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Lessie E. Cutshall; a granddaughter Alisha Cutshall; a great-grandson and a brother Charles Cutshall.
There will be no public visitation or services.
A private burial will take place at a later date at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
