
Michael Kevin Jay of Huntington, passed away in his sleep at the Seymour Crossing Nursing home on Monday, Nov. 28, 2022. He was 62 at the time of his passing.
Michael was born Dec. 7, 1960, to parents William and Sondra (Foster) Fisher and Robert Jay in Huntington. He went to Huntington North High School. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Navy from 1979 to 1985. Michael worked for Homier’s in Huntington for several years.
Michael loved everything Harley Davidson along with his pets and snakes. He enjoyed going shopping and finding deals. His heart was big, and he loved his parents, siblings and extended family. He was always a jokester and loved telling them.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, William and Sondra (Foster) Fisher and Robert Jay; his siblings, Debra Lynn Jay, Ann Barentine and Charles Curry; his children, Â Johnathon McDaniel and Jacob Jay, nephew; Charles Jr. and niece; Kristina Fernung.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Sophie Jay and son Zander Jay, both of Seymour; siblings, Robery (Marijane) Jay of Kokomo; Samuel (Sheila) Curry of Fort Wayne; Ed Fisher of Huntington; Sabrina (Gene) McCoskey of Florida; Tammy (Jeff) Pederson of Minnesota; Kristy (Matt) Rawles of Albion; Amy (Shane) Austin of Florida. Along with several nieces and nephews.
