Patrick Michael Bennett Sr., 73 of Warren, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, at Envive of Huntington. Patrick was born on April 7, 1949 in Fort Wayne, to Homer and Irma (Welch) Bennett. He attended Central High School and served in the United States Army from 1968-1974. Patrick married Rebecca A. Martin on Aug. 23, 1991. In their 31 years of marriage, they made many memories, including Patrick teaching Rebecca how to fish. He was an avid fisherman and loved going hunting and fishing. His sense of humor and his presence will be missed by all who knew him.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Irma Bennett, and brother, Gordon Bennett.
Loving survivors include his wife, Rebecca A. Bennett of Warren, sons, Patrick M. (Rebecca) Bennett Jr. of Georgia, and Philip (Jessica) Bennett of South Carolina, daughter, Bonnie (Shane) McCuen of Tennessee, grandchildren, Lilee Bennett, Daegan Bennett, Holt Bennett, Knoxx Bennett, Cadence Bennett, Tatum Bennett, Merridy Bennett, Asher Bennett, Destinee Bennett, Michael McCuen, and Sydnee McCuen, brothers, Richard Bennett of Florida, and Troy Bennett of Ossian, and sister, Dorothy Barrad of Fort Wayne.
Friends and family may gather to share and remember at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home located at 203 N. Matilda Warren, on Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, from 1 to 5 p.m. Military rites will be performed at 4:30 p.m. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren, Indiana.
