Evelyn Carolyn Good, 81, of Huntington, passed away at 10:02 am Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Evelyn was born on June 1, 1941, in Wabash, the daughter of William Bitzel and Margaret (Ball) Bitzel. She graduated from Huntington High School with the class of 1959. Evelyn married the love of her life Leon L. Good on Aug. 31, 1964, in Huntington. They shared 54 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on July 17, 2018.
Evelyn enjoyed spending her time serving the girl scouts and boy scouts clubs here in Huntington. She loved volunteering at various organizations around the Huntington community. When Evelyn was not out and serving her community, she was enjoying her time as a mom, grandma, great-grandma, and even great-great-grandma. Evelyn loved being with her family, watching the birds, learning genealogy, doing all things crafty, crocheting, and of course, camping.
Survivors include her daughter, Monica (Terry) Eckert of Huntington; son, Rodney L. (Andrea) Good of Huntington; grandson, Nicklaus Good; two granddaughters, Alexandra Plasterer, Cassandra Beeks; 4 step-grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Joan (Lester) Easterday of Andrews; and two brothers, Clarence Bitzel, Jr. of Butler, Paul Bitzel of Atlanta, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her father, William Bitzel, Mother, Margaret Mae Bitzel, and Loving Husband, Leon L. Good.
There will be no services held at this time.
