Trudy Marie Haneline, 68, of Huntington, passed away at 6:47 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Trudy was born on Nov. 8, 1954 in Huntington, the daughter of Dorothy (Doyle) Leach and Frederick Leach. She graduated from Homestead High School with the Class of 1973 and was a Graduate of Ivy Tech in Ft. Wayne. She married James L. Haneline on April 17, 1982 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2022. She retired in 2020 as a Medical Assistant from Parkview. Trudy was a Salvation Army Senior Soldier and was a dedicated Volunteer for the Salvation Army. She loved to visit with people and spend time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Maria D. Stout of Ft. Wayne; two grandchildren, Clayton G. Stout of Ft. Wayne, and Brooke A. Stout of Ft. Wayne; and her grandfurbabies, Jellybean and Leo. She is preceded in death by her husband, James L. Haneline, mother, Dorothy L. Leach, father, Frederick J. Leach, brother, Carl L. Leach, brother, James E. Leach, and son in law, Greggory S. Stout.
Visitation will be from 4 to - 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2023 at the Salvation Army, 1424 East Market Street, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2023 at the Salvation Army with Major Normalene Daniels officiating.
