Chad Dewayne Davis, 42, of Huntington, passed away at 3:35 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2023 at his residence.
Chad was born on Sept. 29, 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of Richard Davis and Deanna (Denton) Rodriguez. He graduated from Huntington North High School with the Class of 2000 and married Michelle Anna Marie Black on Nov. 5, 2010 in Huntington. Chad worked as a Process Technician at Teijan Automotive for 10 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #7 and he loved his jeep, hiking, and kayaking. If he wasn't working you would find him enjoying the outdoors with his wife and family. He also loved spending time with his grandbabies.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Anna Marie Davis of Huntington; mother, Deanna D. (Jose) Rodriguez of Huntington; father, Richard Dewayne Davis of Huntington; three Sons, Dominic (Peggy) Black of West Chester, Ohio, Drew Hinkle of Huntington, Kegan Roberts of Huntington; six grandchildren, Layton Black of Bluffton, Allister Black of Bluffton, Macy Black of Huntington, Madelynn Black of Huntington, Melody Black of Huntington, Evelyn Black of Hamilton, Ohio; three sisters, Denise Murphy of Wabash, Delores Denton of Lagro, Cristie (Travis) Keen of Huntington; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Dean Denton, grandmother, Bev Denton, sister, Misty Davis, grandmother, Faye Crago.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023 at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Chaplain Ed Hippensteel officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.
