
Myrna Sue Ogle Neff, 85 of Huntington, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester, Indiana.
Myrna was born on July 19, 1937, in Snomac, Oklahoma, to the late Ernie and Greba (Lambert) Ogle. She graduated from Chester Center High School in 1955 and married Ronald D. Neff on Oct. 12, 1958 at the United Methodist Church in Poneto, Indiana. Ron passed on Feb. 14, 2015. Myrna was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Huntington, and formerly attended Jefferson Center United Methodist Church, Poneto United Methodist Church, and Solid Rock United Methodist Church. She was incredibly involved in her church and communities, where she held various positions and served on many different boards throughout her lifetime. Myrna was an avid bowler and had an incredible God given talent for playing the piano.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Greba Ogle, husband, Ronald D. Neff, infant brother, Ernie Don Ogle, brother, James William Ogle, sister, Areta Oswalt, and grandson, Andrew Pettit.
Loving survivors include her daughters, Rhonda (John) Pettit of Georgia, and Shirley (Steve) Oyer of Fort Wayne, sons, Randy Neff of Huntington, Rick (Kris) Neff of Noblesville, and Scott (Lori) Neff of Fishers, grandchildren, Ali (Marco) Liubenov, Aaron Pettit, and Abby (Cameron) Moore, all of North Carolina, Tyler (Laura) Oyer of Ft. Wayne, Taryn (Brandon) Liechty of South Bend, Ryan Neal of Warren, Kailey (Kris) Lahr of New Straitsville, Ohio, Natalie (Mark) Banas of Noblesville, Ashlyn Neff of Noblesville, Korbin (Ashley) Rhamy of Bluffton, great grandchildren, Wilder Liubenov, Davis Oyer, Nora Oyer, Lewis Liechty, Elaine Liechty, Masdyn, Krohnan, Kahnler, Aivyn Lahr, Liam Rhamy & Levi Rhamy.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Trinity United Methodist Church, 530 Guilford St., Huntington, on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023 from 1 to 4 p.m. At 4 p.m., everyone is welcome to share a meal. The funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. after the meal, with Pastor Melissa Rice officiating and Pastor Jeff Taylor assisting.
