Pamela R. Worster, 70, of Huntington, passed away at 7:15 pm Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Pamela was born on August 9, 1952, in Huntington, IN, the daughter of Fred Carpenter and Dondas (Sands) Carpenter. She graduated from Huntington North High School with the class of 1970. Pamela fell in love and married the love of her life Larry D. Worster on March 10, 1973, in Huntington, IN. She spent the next 50 years loving him and caring for their family, which was her most prized achievement.
Pamela enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, doing word searches, and watching the birds at her feeders. She was a wonderful cook and made the best Christmas cookies. More than anything, she loved spending time with family. Pamela was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always had time for her grandchildren and treasured the memories they made and celebrated their achievements.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Larry D. Worster of Huntington, IN; son, Heath D. (Jackie) Worster of Huntington, IN; daughter, Heather D. (Darrell) Dorsett of Huntington, IN; brother, Gerald F. Carpenter of Huntington, IN; sister, Debra (Gary) Kimmel of Huntington, IN; six grandchildren, Madison, Peyton, Ashley, Derek, Delaney and Christopher. She is preceded in death by her, father, Fred G. Carpenter, mother, Dondas M. Carpenter, brother, Danny Lyle Carpenter.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Friday, January 27, 2023, at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm Friday, January 27, 2023, at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Mike Hill officiating.
