Gordon F. Cocklin, 84, of Huntington and formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday morning February 5, 2023 at the Waters of Huntington. Gordon had served his country in the US Army.
Gordon was born on September 3, 1938 in Huntington, a son of the late Charles Cocklin and Ruth (Gordon) Haley. He was the last of his siblings.
Survivors include five sons: Mark (Carol) Cocklin of Huntington, Monty (Gail) Cocklin of Huntington, Gordon (Martina) Cocklin of Warren, Raymond Cocklin of Warren and Hoss (Jamie) Cocklin of Huntington; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his siblings and two great grandchildren.
There will be private services at a later date.
Interment will be at the Glenwood Cemetery in Roanoke.
