Donald L. Fishbaugh, 77, of Huntington, passed away at 3:02 am Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, IN.
Donald was born on March 25, 1945, in Huntington, IN, the son of Donald Fishbaugh and Katherine (Kinzie) Fishbaugh. He attended Huntington County Schools and married the love of his life Elizabeth A. Wyatt on August 7, 1980, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Donald retired from M&S Sheet Metal of Huntington after 14 years of service. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, mowing the grass and watching the bald eagle’s fly. Donald liked to work on cars and tinker around the garage. He was a NASCAR racing and Philadelphia Eagles football fan. Donald was passionate about his family and spending as much time with each of them.
Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Elizabeth A. Fishbaugh of Huntington, IN; three daughters, Donetta (Trevor) Smith of Columbia City, IN, Donna A. Scher of Huntington, IN, Kathryn Fishbaugh of Huntington, IN; son, Isaac (April) Griffith of Huntington, IN; nine grandchildren; two great grandsons; five brothers, Larry Fishbaugh of Huntington, IN, Lloyd Fishbaugh of Warren, IN, Sonny Fishbaugh, Henry Fishbaugh, David (Linda) Fishbaugh of Fort Wayne, IN; three sisters, Sharon Rivers of FL, Beverly Asher of IN, Betty Cox of IN; and his fur babies puppy Sugar and kitty Bruno. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald R Fishbaugh, mother, Katherine K Fishbaugh, son, Howard Fishbaugh, brother, Ronnie Fishbaugh, grandson, Shane Covey and infant grandson Tyler.
