Morris Pierson, 65 of Huntington, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 4:10am at his home in Huntington.
Morris was born on June 27, 1957, in Richmond, Indiana to Emma “Penny” Cummins. He considered himself lucky to have two great dads, David Broom, who passed in 1976, and Robert Cummins who passed in 2008. Morris attended Huntington North High School and was married for 41 years to the love of his life, Deb Pierson, who he married on December 12, 1981. He drove truck for over 20 years and loved tinkering on small engines. He enjoyed woodworking and playing with his cats.
Morris was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Tami Glenn.
A celebration of life service will be held at Healing Waters Ministry located at 5811 W 606 S, Huntington, IN 46750, on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2pm.
Loving survivors include his wife, Deb Pierson, daughter, Candi (Wayne) Small, grandchildren, Bailey, Khyana, Brianna, Samuel, Elliot, and Rowan, great-grandchild, Delilah, brothers, Carl (Sherry) Pierson and Jim (Lori) Pierson, sister, Debbie Sue Johnson, and step sisters, Avis (Doug) Hiller, Cindy (Mark) McKay, Sue Asher, and Becky (David) Kersey and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren, Indiana.
