Isaac Wade Hurt Jr, 66, of Marion, IN, passed away at 7:01 PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Aperion Care in Marion, IN. He was born to Isaac and Louise Hurt, on Thursday, January 11, 1957, in Paintsville, KY. Isaac went to school in Imlay City, MI. He worked for GM in Pontiac, MI. Isaac enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and spending time with his family, especially his mother in which he had a very close relationship with.
He will be sadly missed by his Mother - Louise (Laney) Hurt, Van Buren, IN, Son - Matthew (Joyann) Hurt, Brown City, MI, Daughter - Jessica (Larry) Williams, Yale, MI, Daughter - Felicia (Jerry) Dudley, Yale, MI, Sister-in-law – Lorretta Hurt, Imlay City, MI, Sister- Goldia Vincent, Imlay City, MI, Brother-in-law Jessie Romero, Imlay City, MI, Sister - Bessie Cantor, Worthington, OH, Sister - Pamela (Rick) Ables, Lewisburg, TN, Sister - Kathy Hurt, Van Buren, IN, Sister - Inez Hurt (Michael Sloan), Marion, IN, Sister - Angela Hurt Fort Wayne, IN, Sister - Regina Hurt, Fort Wayne, IN, 15 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father - Isaac Hurt, several brothers & sisters and several nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate his life will be at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, with Pastor Mike Helms officiating. Interment will follow in the Van Buren Cemetery in Van Buren.
