Elizabeth A. Fishbaugh, 69, of Huntington, passed away at 8:49 am Monday, February 27, 2023, at her daughter’s home in Huntington IN.
Elizabeth was born on June 9, 1953, in Huntington, IN, the daughter of Dorland Wyatt and Liaitia Joan Parker. She attended Huntington County Schools and married her true love, Donald L. Fishbaugh on August 7, 1980, in Broken Bone, OK. They shared 42 years of marriage before he preceded her in death earlier this month on February 5, 2023. She retired from KFC as a cook after 6 years of service.
Elizabeth was very crafty and enjoyed making gifts for others. She always looked forward to going camping with her husband and playing at the park with her grandkids. Elizabeth loved being a grandmother and making memories with her family. She was a wonderful cook and was delighted to bake cakes for any occasion.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathryn Fishbaugh of Huntington, IN; stepchildren, Donna A. Scher of Huntington, Donetta (Trevor) Smith of Columbia City, IN, Isaac (April) Griffith of Huntington, IN; nine grandchildren, Isabelle, Jolene, Jonathan, Kevin, Jeffrey, Reece, Onika, Arianna, Makayla IN; two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Alex; two sisters, Athena Wood of TX, and Michelle Parker of TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Fishbaugh, father, Dorland W. Wyatt, mother, Liaitia Joan Parker, stepson, Howie Fishbaugh, infant grandson Tyler and grandson Shane Covery.
