Richard D. Bogear, 83, of Huntington, passed away at 1:55 pm Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne, IN.
Richard was born on February 18, 1940 in Garrett, IN, the son of Cecil Bogear and Helen (Hile) Bogear. He graduated from Huntington High School and retired from Indiana Box as a Custodian. Richard loved eating at Johnny's' Drive Inn which was his favorite restaurant. He also enjoyed walking and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his Sister, Marilyn Fowler of Silver Lake, IN; Three Nieces, Carol Sue Burnworth of Silver Lake, IN, Marie Hasty of Huntington, IN, Betty (Gerald) Black of Huntington, IN; Nephews, Charles E. Hasty of Huntington, IN, Paul (Cassie) Hasty of Huntington, IN; Robert Hasty of Huntington, IN; Mr. & Mrs. Jim Bogear; Mr. & Mrs. Phil Bogear; Mr. & Mrs. David Bogear; Steve Randal; Ronnie Randal; Cecil Fowler; and many other Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Helen Bogear, Father, Cecil Bogear, Sister, Barbara Bogear, Sister, Mary Hasty, Brother, Ronald Bogear, Brother, Royce Bogear.Sister, Beatrice Randall, Brother-in-Law, William Randall. Brother-in-Law, Clarence Hasty, Brother-in-Law, Jim Fowler, and Sister-in-Law, Lois Bogear.
Visitation was Monday, March 20, 2023 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. Graveside services followed at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington, IN with Pastor Micah Mobley officiating.
