Laura R. Girod, 10, of Berne, IN, passed away at 7:40 AM on Friday, April 7, 2023 at her residence in Berne, IN. She was born on Thursday, July 19, 2012, in Adams County, IN. Laura was in the 5th grade at South Adams School, Berne, IN. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Survivors include her Father - Roman G. Girod, Berne, IN, Mother - Barbara K. (Girod) Girod, Berne, IN,
Siblings - Walter R. Girod, Berne, IN, Jonathan R. Girod, Catherine R. Girod, Ann R. Girod, Mary R. Girod, Roman R. Girod, & Aden R. Girod, Maternal Grandparents - Menno R. & Catherine B. Girod, Berne, IN, and Paternal Grandfather - Stephen E. Girod, Berne, IN.
She was preceded in death by her Paternal Grandmother - Mary X. Girod.
Visitation will be held at the Roman G. Girod residence located at 7958 S. 150 E. Berne, IN. on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 9, 2023.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Roman G. Girod residence at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 10, 2023 with Bishop John E. Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow in the Bunker Hill Amish Cemetery, Adams County.
Arrangements are being handled by Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.
