Richard D. (Dick) Minton, 94, of Huntington, passed away peacefully at his home at 7:45 pm on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
Richard was born on April 2, 1929 in Huntington, IN, the son of Walter Minton and Ellen (Caley) Hartwig. He served in the United Sates Navy from 1946 to 1948. Dick was united in marriage to Dolly Lou Johnson on November 15, 1952. She preceded him in death on May 5, 2013. Dick retired in 1981 from Crainford in Warren, IN. He loved watching Auto Racing and was an Indianapolis Colts fan.
Survivors include his Two Sons, Steve Minton of Ft. Wayne, IN, Phillip Minton of Huntington, IN; Daughter, Peggy Rust of Huntington, IN; Granddaughter, Kristy Wehr of Ft. Wayne, IN; Grandson, Joe Wehr of Ft. Wayne, IN; and Great Grandson, Dominick Wehr of Ft. Wayne, IN; . He is preceded in death by his Wife, Dolly Lou Minton, Father, Walter Minton, and Mother, Ellen (Peg) Hartwig.
There will be no services. A Private Burial will be at a later date.
